I have been taking photographs since the age of just six and it has developed to be an instrumental part of my life. My photography covers many different genres but, since my childhood, I've been fascinated by nature and am now probably best known for capturing scenes of the natural world.
Along the way I've picked up a few awards for my photography, achieving my Licentiateship of the Royal Photographic Society at the age of eleven and becoming an Associate at the age of fifteen - two achievements which have never been repeated. I was awarded the Boots Young Photographer of the Year in 1993 and was one of 6 winners of the BBC's CountryFile Photographic competition in 1995. More recently, I won the Digital SLR Photography 'Trade Photographer of the Year'.
My work has been displayed in exhibitions nationwide and published in various books, calendars, greeting cards and magazines. I am a panel member for Licentiate applications of the Royal Photographic Society and I also contribute to several photographic magazines offering technical advice about photography and digital imaging.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions and I hope you enjoy looking through this selection of my work.
